18 May Adjusting to the new ‘normal’
We hope this finds you and your family and friends safe and healthy during this uncertain time. Like you, we have been “socially distancing” and doing what we can to avoid getting sick or spreading infection to others—making masks, cleaning the house and gallery, staying home and keeping busy in our studios, all while readjusting our schedules.
As you know, the gallery has been closed since Minnesota Governor Walz issued the stay-at-home order in March. We cancelled the featured artist exhibits planned for April and May, and we’ve tweaked the calendar to reflect the new “normal.” We’ll continue to feature original work by more than 60 exceptional regional artisans. At times like these we all need art more than ever to feed our creative spirit!
As businesses are given the green light to reopen, we’ve tentatively set Saturday, May 16 as our first day “back.” To make that happen while maintaining a safe environment for guests and ourselves, we will be limiting the number of customers in the gallery at any given time to two, wearing (and providing) masks, making hand sanitizer available at the door and doing frequent cleaning and disinfecting.
With health and safety always foremost, we look forward to seeing our year-around and summer friends. The gallery looks great (if we do say so ourselves!) and there’s plenty of room for social distancing outside on the patio, on the front porch or in the garden. We hope you stop by and let us know that you’re okay.
